Dhurandhar Part 1 and Part 2 taught people such filthy abuses that everyone thoroughly enjoyed each one of them.

Skills and Talent Matter; Educational Degrees Don't

For an Electronics Engineer can be a Popular Film-star of your Country, and a Law Graduate can be an Award-winning Music Composer of the year. What if the music of the blockbuster Dhurandhar had been composed by A. R. Rahman? Sounds exciting, right? Well… that’s one thing you won’t hear from him—and perhaps a surprising limitation for a maestro of his caliber. - NewzTaag | Hit Yaa Flop

Gore + Solid Performances + Surprises = Dhurandhar 2, The Revenge

The sequel pre-released on 18 March 2026 goes beyond the level of the Dhurandhar released in December 2025. The length bores you often - 4 hours; with interval it runs unto 4 hours 20 minutes including trailers and advertisements. If it was to be rated, we give 3 out of 5 stars. - NewzTaag │ Hit Yaa Flop

Karan Johar's Oscar-runner movie, Homebound (2025) is a frame to frame copy of the 2021 film Dihadi? Are We Running Out of Originality in Hindi Cinema?

Step back and look closely at mainstream Hindi films, and a pattern becomes hard to ignore: a vast majority—perhaps 90–95%—lean on pre-existing material. Remakes, reboots, unofficial adaptations, or films that borrow liberally from global cinema have long been part of Bollywood’s creative fabric.

And yet, here’s the paradox—some of these very films go on to achieve iconic status. Sholay stands as the most compelling example. Yes, it drew heavily from Westerns, but what it became was something far greater: a distinctly Indian cinematic milestone, deeply rooted in our storytelling ethos and cultural pulse. So the issue isn’t inspiration—it is transformation.

Where Hindi cinema often falters on the global stage, particularly at the Oscars, is in its struggle to consistently present stories that feel both authentic and original in their voice. The Academy doesn’t just reward technical brilliance or entertainment value; it looks for narratives that break new ground or offer a perspective the world hasn’t seen before.

Originality, or the lack of it, has quietly become our vulnerability. Until we move from borrowing stories to owning them—infusing them with fresh ideas, bold writing, and cultural specificity—international recognition will remain elusive. — NewszTaag │ Hit Yaa Flop

Subedaar (2026)

Now streaming on Amazon Prime Video, Subedaar features Anil Kapoor in a commanding titular role, supported by Khushbu Sundar, Radhika Madan, Saurabh Shukla, Mona Singh, and Aditya Rawal—who steps in as the antagonist, following the legacy of his father, the versatile Paresh Rawal.

Produced by Anil Kapoor and Vikram Malhotra, and directed by Suresh Triveni, the film carries strong shades of recent Rajinikanth-style mass entertainers like Jailer (2023), Vettaiyan (2024), and Coolie (2025), blending swagger, emotion, and high-voltage drama. - NewzTaag | Hit Yaa Flop

Hoppers by Pixar Disney is recently released movie on 6 March 2026

Pixar’s latest outing, Hoppers, arrives with its usual mix of colour, humour, and a heartfelt social message. The story follows 19-year-old Mabel, a spirited young woman whose deep love for animals, birds, and reptiles pushes her into an unlikely fight to protect the fragile biodiversity of Beaverton. As urban development plans led by the ambitious Mayor Jerry threaten to erase natural habitats, Mabel’s journey becomes both a personal coming-of-age and a broader call for environmental responsibility.

What makes the film stand out is how it quietly blends two themes — woman empowerment and the urgent need to conserve nature — without turning the narrative into a lecture. Instead, Pixar lets Mabel’s courage and compassion drive the story, reminding audiences that sometimes the loudest voice for change can come from someone the world initially underestimates. While the film follows a familiar animated adventure formula, its warm humor, vibrant world, and sincere message make it a thoughtful family watch that nudges viewers to rethink humanity’s relationship with the natural world. - NewzTaag | Hit Yaa Flop / International Women's Day

Do Deewane Seher Mein (2026) -

Mrunal & Siddhant shine, but the film around them feels lost in its own confusion.

Starring: Mrunal Thakur and Siddhant Chaturvedi

Director: Ravi Udyawar

Producer: Bhansali Films (Sanjay Leela Bhansali) and Ravi Udyawar Films

Do Deewane Seher Mein attempts to capture the restless, chaotic pulse of Gen Z life in Mumbai—young adults who are confused about love, career, identity, and their own personal flaws. The film has its heart in the right place, but the storytelling often feels scattered, mirroring the very confusion it tries to portray.

Mrunal Thakur and Siddhant Chaturvedi bring sincerity to their roles, yet the screenplay doesn’t give them enough depth to elevate the narrative. Ravi Udyawar’s direction has moments of spark, but the film struggles to find a consistent emotional rhythm.

The biggest disappointment, surprisingly, is the music. Despite coming from Bhansali’s banner—known for memorable soundtracks—the songs feel force‑fitted, lacking melody, flavour, or any lasting impact. They interrupt rather than enhance the storytelling.

The Raja Saab - Even the flop movie of Prabhas earns 100 Crores.

That's branding!

The Raja Saab is a psychological thriller sprinkled with elements reminiscent of Kapil Sharma’s Kiss Kiss Ko Pyaar Karoon, built around the familiar trope of one man and three romantic interests. Written and directed by Maruthi, the film features Prabhas in the lead, delivering a performance that anchors the narrative. Sanjay Dutt makes a strong impression as the antagonist, while Zarina Wahab and Boman Irani add weight in pivotal supporting roles. Despite a rather lacklustre storyline, The Raja Saab is expected to draw crowds to theatres largely on the strength of Prabhas’ star power. Ikkis Ki Ho Gayi Baais Teyis; the Tank Tanked!

Ikkis (2026) opens the new year on a disappointing note, failing to live up to expectations. Agastya Nanda struggles to leave a lasting impression, inadvertently echoing history by stepping into the familiar trajectory of his grandfather (Amitabh Bachchan) and maternal uncle (Abhishek Bachchan), both of whom also began their film careers with underwhelming debuts. Despite the legacy Agastya carries, the performance lacks the spark needed to rise above the film’s shortcomings, making Ikkis a forgettable start rather than a promising one. Ikkis is last movie of legendary actor Dharmendra. Jaideep Ahlawat keeps you glued to the seat. NewzTaag | Hit Yaa Flop

Avatar: Fire and Ash Review - The Film Feels Outdated and Overlong!

Avatar: Fire and Ash (2025), directed and produced by James Cameron and released in India on December 19, 2025, is the third film in the Avatar series—and it feels tiring and overly long. In today’s age of fast-moving, AI-driven entertainment, Avatar comes across as outdated and unnecessary. It raises a simple question: why was this film even made? Given the dull experience, distributors should seriously rethink releasing the fourth and fifth Avatar films planned for 2029 and 2031. NewzTaag | Hit Yaa Flop

Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 is Brainless, Whacky Rom-com!

This fun, easy-going comedy film delivers its best moments when it fully embraces its madcap humour and keeps expectations refreshingly simple. Designed for audiences seeking light entertainment and stress-free laughs, the movie works as a perfect pick for casual viewing.

Kapil Sharma once again proves that situational comedy is his greatest strength. His comic timing remains sharp, and he effortlessly carries the film through sequences driven more by expressive reactions and physical comedy than heavy dialogue. The supporting cast injects additional energy into the narrative, especially during scenes where multiple characters collide, creating the controlled chaos and comedic confusion that define this popular franchise.

Overall, the film succeeds as a family-friendly comedy entertainer, offering easy laughs without demanding too much from its audience. — NewzTaag | Hit Yaa Flop

Marathi Movies: What’s Missing at the Box Office?

Mumbai and Maharashtra have been the centre of Indian cinema for many decades. Marathi is the state’s official language, yet Marathi films still struggle to attract a steady audience. Except for theatre and a handful of TV shows, many Marathi-speaking viewers hesitate to watch Marathi films in theatres. Only one or two movies each year manage to perform well, while a few others get some attention. Most films, however, disappear from cinemas on the very first day, even if they feature well-known actors.

This raises an important question: What exactly is going wrong with the Marathi film industry? Is it the low budgets? Or is it because the same actors appear in theatre, films and TV, making audiences feel there is no freshness? Are there not enough stars who can draw crowds to multiplexes?

It is surprising to see that an actor loved on stage does not always receive the same love on the big screen. A TV superstar may gain huge popularity in households but may still fail to succeed in Marathi cinema.

Jolly LLB 3: Satire Meets Substance in a Courtroom Clash

Director, Subhash Kapoor sharpens satire into a scalpel, dissecting India’s grim reality of farmer suicides through chaotic courtroom comedy. This isn’t just a sequel—it’s a moral melee wrapped in wit.

With two Jollys—Arshad Warsi and Akshay Kumar—sparring in a legal circus, the film turns ideology into entertainment. Their duels echo deeper truths, as Kapoor uses humor not to preach, but to provoke.

Ram Kapoor disrupts with quiet force, while #GajrajRao, #SaurabhShukla, and Shilpa Shukla ground the chaos with gravitas. Huma Qureshi, Amrita Rao, and Seema Biswas add emotional depth with understated power.

More than a courtroom drama, Jolly LLB 3 is satire with soul—a mirror to our system, where laughter reveals what justice often hides. NewzTaag | Hit Yaa Flop
